Thrifty options in the city will put you in touch with the history and vibe of the country music capital:
- Buffalo Exchange is near Nashville's west end and offers a vintage American thrifting experience. They started their store in Tucson, Arizona and now have over 50 stores nationwide. You can buy, sell, and trade clothes with Buffalo. website link: Buffalo Exchange.
- Music City Thrift is near the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere and offers used name brand clothing, jewelry, shoes, housewares, books, and collectibles. The store is a bit unorganized inside, so it is a hunt for the perfect find. Music City Thrift uses a non-profit that they buy their items for resale from, so they’re not local Nashville hand-me-downs.
Other unique spots to spend a dime or two:
- Rooted is a designer urban footwear and clothing store located near the Gulch in downtown Nashville. The store carries current popular urban footwear brands such as Adidas by Raf Simmons, Jordan, Nike, and Puma. Instagram: stay_rooted
- Citizen is a small boutique in the little quaint city of Franklin outside of Nashville. They feature hard-to-find urban sneakers and apparel and even have their own brand. Instagram: citizen615 Pictured right.
